The surrounds of Fish Rock offer some spectacular dives and opportunities to view the abundant marine life that congregates around the Rock. grey nurse sharks, Grey Nurse Shark the Grey Nurse shark is an ancient and docile species, but unfortunately is rare and endangered. Fish Rock is one of the few diving sites in Australia where Grey Nurse sharks can be found most of the year round.

Everyone meets at Kirra Dive at 12.00 pm to car pool or Bus and pick up anything they need for the trip unless pre-arranged. Arrive at Costa Rica Motel in SWR and prepare your equipment for Saturday’s dive. Sit back, relax, use the facilities and wait for the back-up to arrive. There is an Indian restaurant in the motel or a pub down the road.

Rise and shine have some breakfast and meet at the dive shop on site IF you’re on the morning dive, if not sleep in you have a few more hours of shut eye. First group of divers will arrive back at around 11 most likely gas bagging about how good it is to the awaiting divers. From then on you have the rest of the day to relax, explore and reminisce. When all divers are back from the site we will meet back at the Motel. There is a BBQ nex to the pool so we might get together for a Cook Up.

Anticipation as you wake for the upcoming dive, what will we see, how will you react, but first go have some breakfast. The divers that went first on Saturday will have a chance to sleep in. After all divers are back you can either stay for another night or head back home thinking about your next dive trip to SWR.
